Fragrance Product Development and Inventory Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Perfume Product Development and Inventory Manager to join our team. This role combines creative and operational responsibilities, ensuring our product line continues to captivate while maintaining seamless inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fragrance development, excellent organizational skills, and a drive to innovate.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development
1. Collaborate with perfumers and creative teams to conceptualize and develop new fragrances aligned with the brand’s ethos.
2. Research market trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for new product launches.
3. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality raw materials and packaging components.
4. Oversee product testing and quality assurance processes to ensure standards are met.
5. Maintain documentation for all formulations, certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management
1. Monitor stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging to ensure uninterrupted production and fulfillment.
2. Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
3. Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
4. Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports for senior management.
5. Develop strategies to manage seasonal fluctuations and new product rollouts.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in product development and/or inventory management, preferably within the fragrance, beauty, or luxury goods industry.
2. Strong knowledge of fragrance ingredients, production processes, and industry regulations.
3. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
4. Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
6. Creative mindset with an eye for detail and quality.
