Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join the Doctoral School Team as a Research Support Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover position.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, customer-centric support to prospective PGR students, with a key focus on responding to enquiries and guiding candidates through the application process.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Doctoral School, including managing databases, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to prospective PGR students, responding to enquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Guide candidates through the application process, ensuring they have a positive experience and meet the necessary requirements.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic staff, PGR students, and other stakeholders to promote the Doctoral School's services and activities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proven experience of working in an administrative role, preferably in a higher education setting.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
