TEXO Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our external clients HSEQ team based in Blyth, Northumberland.

As a H&S Advisor, you will work closely with the H&S Manager to promote a safety first culture, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and drive continuous improvement in health and safety practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with Health and Safety matters including liaison with national safety, regulatory and enforcement bodies.
* Proactively assist with continual improvement.
* Support on the review, development and implementation of Risk Assessments, Non-Conformances, & Method Statements.
* Strong presence around the Port and assisting managers / supervisors on implementation of H&S procedures and actions.
* Attend Health and Safety management meetings and help implement existing and new legislation.
* Investigate and record any incidents correctly and accurately.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
What We’re Looking For:
* Working towards or holding an industry recognised qualification, such as the nebosh national general certificate.
* Demonstrable knowledge of health & safety regulations and their practical application.
* Ideally, prior experience in an industrial or logistics environment with a proactive approach to health and safety management.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
