Join us as a Personal Assistant within our UK Corporate team in London. You will be the PA for two different Industry Head's, The Head of Retail & Wholesale and Head of Healthcare. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for: Establish & maintain strong relationships with Corporate Banking leaders, their PAs and Coverage teams to ensure positive interaction at all times. Own the leader's diary - scheduling and managing appointments. Act as the main reference point both in the presence and absence of the leader. Schedule⁄organise meetings and events; managing the needs of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, taking in consideration time zones⁄ travel requirements, explore cost effective options; use sound judgement to overcome any arising challenges to ensure a successful, smooth running event. Provide secretarial support to other leaders in the team when required, especially when other PA colleagues are out of the office. Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: Comprehensive understanding of the objectives and policies of the leader's areas of responsibilities, current and future work⁄projects undertaken, to provide the required level of support. Strong communicator written and oral; ability to provide directions to others; ability to competently and confidently deal with people at all levels. Sound experience in office management; well-organised and structured, ability to plan and prioritise workload of self and of dedicated leader effectively. Ability to influence an internal stakeholder network, managing expectations and influencing seniors, ability to balance different requirements effectively and deal with some ambiguity. Proactive and flexible, with energy and resilience; arrangements will change and need to re-organising at short notice. Relationship/partnering approach within a high-performance climate. Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting senior stakeholders and exposure to Senior Executives across the Barclays Group as well as large companies⁄ PLCs in the national market. Exceptional customer service. Technical ability using a range of IT systems: Microsoft Office, expenses, HR systems SAP & COUPA. Knowledge of financial services industry is advantageous. Previous experience within Corporate Banking preferred. To manage schedules, acting as a trusted point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient task management, and a professional presence for their assigned individuals or teams. Accountabilities Management of executive, managers or team calendars and overseeing timely responses to meeting invitations and requests. Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation, ensuring timely and efficient travel for the executive or team. Proactively anticipating the needs of the executive or team, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion. Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, and ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management and organisation management tasks.
