We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a high-needs SEN school. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, supporting either primary or secondary students.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of complex needs, ensuring their educational and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the development of learning strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students, helping them to build confidence and achieve their full potential.
- Support the delivery of creative and engaging lessons.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Is adaptable and proactive in meeting the needs of students with diverse abilities.
- Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), or has relevant experience in a similar role.
- Is committed to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
