A trusted employer with a first class reputation, our client is recruiting a HR Business Partner role. This is newly created role within the Group structure, based from one of three Manufacturing sites with the UK - Swansea/Herford/Birmingham. Reporting to the HR Manager who is based in Swansea, the role is responsible for providing a proactive HR Business partner service, which will predominantly focus on Employee Relations, including Disciplinary, Grievance and Union matters across the three sites. The role where required will also support in the following areas :- Advise on other employment matters on HR related topics. Counsel employees on work related problems. Support as required with the annual Performance Management process and act as a backup for the HRM as required. Organise, prioritise and manage a diverse workload under pressure. Knowledge/Qualifications CIPD qualified level 7 Employment Law qualification desirable. Experience Demonstrated experience in an Employee Relations HR role, ideally in a fast paced, results driven, manufacturing environment. Strong practical working knowledge of employment law. Demonstrated experience in working in a heavily unionized environment. PC literate in particular Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS (ideally SAP) Behavioural Competencies Excellent interpersonal skills.
