Essential criteria
1. Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment
2. Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies or equivalent by time of appointment in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice
3. Evidence of completion of competencies or equivalent relevant to general surgery at time of application, and projected completion of ST7/8 competencies or equivalent relevant to general surgery by time of appointment
4. Eligibility to work in the UK
5. Evidence of achievement of surgery training programme in line with GMC standards in Good Medical Practice including:
