The Role: As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing creative and engaging lessons, ensuring that every student’s individual needs are met. You will work closely with a team of dedicated support staff and collaborate with families and other professionals to create a positive and enriching educational experience for our students. Key Responsibilities: Plan, teach, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the specific needs of children with special educational needs. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure effective support for each student. Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Foster a nurturing and encouraging classroom atmosphere that builds students' confidence and social skills. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children in KS2, ideally in a special educational needs setting. A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual requirements. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders. Patience, creativity, and a positive approach to overcoming challenges.
