Speech & Language Therapist
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
About the role:
Working in a private purpose-built 75-bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health problems. Leading group therapeutic sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. Building one-to-one rapport with service users, you will encourage engagement and empower recovery.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
* Assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
* Manage a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
* Undertaking audits and contributing to research in the provision of treatments.
* Utilise specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generate appropriate strategies for caseload management.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
* HCPC registration.
* Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
* Experience of working with families.
