Job Description
An Installation Manager is sought to help a successful glazing business. The role will involve planning and co-ordinating the company's installation programme to include the recruitment, training and supervision of fitting teams to ensure that every project is carried out safely, on time and to a high standard. The successful person will be managing the process from point of sale through to aftercare including the surveying function, making sure that processes and procedures are in place and are carried out correctly every time.
This role is a hands-on approach to ensure that both products and resources are in place and correct in line with the specification, Health and Safety and Building Regulations, and that the customer receives a first-class service every time.
The role will be largely office-based but will require travel to site to liaise with customers when needed and supervise any works. The successful applicant will need to have previous supervisory experience within a busy domestic installation environment. You will have a good understanding of glazing products to provide guidance and support to your teams as required and must have excellent planning and communication skills. You will need to be able to lead from the front and have a thorough understanding of the fitting process relating to domestic glazing installations and live within commutable distance of the company's Manchester Head Office.
Candidates should be comfortable using computers and bespoke CRM systems as well as producing reports when required. The company is a well-known regional glazing business with a good reputation for service and the quality of their product range. This is a key appointment, and the successful person will be working closely with the Directors to shape the business moving forward.
