Studio Ulster Ltd is a ground-breaking large-scale Virtual Production creative technology company, established in early 2024 and set to launch in Q4 2024 at Belfast Harbour Studios, just 10 minutes from Belfast City Centre. This £75 m, 75,000 ft² facility will house some of the most advanced creative technology stages in the world, including cutting-edge In-Camera Visual Effects (ICVFX) on one of the largest LED Volume Stages globally, along with state-of-the-art Motion Capture and 3D/4D Volumetric Scanning stages, among other supporting facilities.
Studio Ulster is a strategic partnership with Belfast Harbour Studios, supported by Northern Ireland Screen, and is designed to elevate the commercial studio capability for real-time visual effects across the UK and Ireland. The complex is also home to the UKRI/AHRC-funded CoSTAR Screen Lab, a creative technologies lab focusing on real-time production, which alone unlocks nearly £11m in research investment.
Aligned with the recent government initiatives under the Creative Industries Sector Vision to grow the UK's GDP by £50 billion and create one million jobs by 2030, Studio Ulster is poised to attract some of the largest production companies globally, as well as local and national screen industry contracts.
To support the growth and operational excellence of Studio Ulster, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused Client Services Executive (CSE). This role is essential in assisting the Head of Commercial Operations by providing vital support in managing client relationships, driving sales activities, and coordinating essential business operations.
As a key member of the team, the CSE must be a natural communicator who thrives in a people-centric environment. They will work closely with various teams across the organisation, including technical, operational, and marketing departments, to help deliver world-class services to our clients. Their ability to build strong relationships, both externally with clients and internally across different functions, will be crucial to their success.
In this dynamic position, the CSE will manage CRM systems, coordinate meetings, support sales initiatives, and contribute to business development reports, all while fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within Studio Ulster. This role is ideal for an organised and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the film, television, VFX, and immersive media industries, and who excels in building connections and facilitating teamwork.
The CSE will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Commercial Operations in driving new business, managing client relationships, and helping to convert production opportunities into confirmed bookings. This is a sales-driven role requiring strong commercial focus, outstanding organisation, and a solid understanding of the VFX, film, TV, or creative industries.
A key part of the role involves close collaboration with the Studio Operations Manager to ensure seamless client handovers, efficient planning for studio use, and coordinated production visits. A strong working relationship with the on-set technical team is essential, as the successful candidate will often act as a bridge between the commercial and technical functions of the studio.
The role will involve responding to production enquiries, arranging and leading studio tours, facilitating client production calls, preparing tailored sales decks, and reporting business development activity. The CSE will also be expected to proactively track production intelligence, source new leads, and contribute to the success of commercial pitches. The ability to create and support branded social media content, including post copy and visuals, is desirable to complement wider marketing efforts.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the creative industries or VFX, who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing environment and is motivated by delivering results in a fast-paced studio context.

13. Support the marketing agency with campaign activity, brand alignment, and promotional materials as directed by the HCO.
14. Assist in the coordination of events, marketing campaigns, and client-facing materials, ensuring consistency with Studio Ulster’s brand and business development goals.
