Job Description Job Summary An opening has arisen for a Executive Director level Trader to join our trading business, focusing on Emerging Markets. Working within the Currencies and Emerging Markets group, you will have exposure to global Emerging Markets and, in particular, local currency markets with a focus on CEEMEA. As an Executive Director CEEMEA Trader within our Currencies & Emerging Markets team, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop our client franchise. You will be providing in-depth expertise on the CEEMEEA local market, contributing significantly to our team's success. Job Responsibilities Provide expertise and service in market-making, execution, advice, risk management, and market colour to the firm's clients Develop the client franchise servicing the firm’s clients which include hedge funds, real money accounts, insurance and pension funds, government institutions, banks, and corporate clients Provide in-depth expertise and experience on CEEMEA local market trading characteristics and liquidity as well as regulations Manage the firm's risk and exposure in the most efficient and optimal way, including working together with colleagues geographically and across job function Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills Extensive quantitative and qualitative analyses experience of emerging markets, as well as trading experience Experience and interest in client interaction with strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders Highly organized, detail oriented and have effective time management Self-driven and able to work independently on projects and initiatives This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
