Risk and Assurance Coordinator
Salary: £22,100 - £22,800 per annum - depending on skills and experience
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)

About the role:
You will support the Head of Risk & Assurance and Risk & Business Continuity Manager in ensuring the presence of an effective and value-adding Risk and Assurance function.
You will provide maintenance of the organisational Asset and Liability Register, and co-ordination of periodic updates to this.
A fit-for-purpose organisational risk management framework, including the capture, recording and assessment of risk, related controls and assurance activities, and administration of the Risk Management System.
Appropriate and proportionate assurance, to include the effective supporting the co-ordination of outsourced internal audit arrangements including monitoring of the action tracker and reporting on the implementation of agreed actions.
Effective insurance claims administration through working with the Insurance Officer on claims handling and related activities.

You must be able to prepare content to support good quality first draft reports.
You must be able to deploy effective time management and task prioritisation to ensure deadlines (including reporting) are met.
You will be committed to process improvement, continually analysing processes and driving change where required.
You need to be able to handle conflict effectively.
You must be able to manage difficult conversations effectively.
