Hours of Employment: Full time, 40 hours per week, plus on-call duties as required

Our client is a growing private childcare provider committed to offering high-quality care, support, and education to children and young adults in a safe and nurturing environment. They are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Ofsted Registered Manager to lead their team and ensure the highest standards of care for the children in their residential home.
Job Summary:
The Registered Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective running of the home, providing leadership and guidance to the staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the safety and well-being of the children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ofsted Compliance:
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
• Lead and participate in inspections, implementing necessary improvements.
2. Leadership and Management:
• Provide strong leadership to the staff team.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and supervision sessions.
3. Child-Centered Care:
• Ensure that the children receive the highest standard of care.
• Develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Implement and maintain robust systems for monitoring quality of care.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments.
5. Communication and Partnership:
• Establish effective communication channels with external agencies and families.
• Foster positive relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
6. Financial Management:
• Manage the budget for the children's home efficiently.
• Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Must hold a minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* Significant experience in a management role within a residential childcare setting.
* Proven track record of successful Ofsted inspections and compliance.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing children's homes.
