Position: Compliance Manager
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £50k
This varied and interesting role is to support the COLP, MLCO and management team in managing risk and compliance within regulatory requirements. This role will suit individuals with a keen interest in risk and compliance, complaints handling, and AML with an analytical mindset and a solution-based approach to solving problems.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining and updating complaints, claims, breaches, and risk registers.
2. Preparing preliminary decisions on complaints.
3. Overseeing and ensuring continuing competence records are updated and completed.
4. Answering AML queries from Fee-Earners and other staff.
Requirements:
1. Preferably have compliance experience in a legal or professional services environment.
2. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
4. Ideally have experience in a law firm environment providing legal support to fee earners.
