The Payroll Assistant role will cover our UK Sites: Ossett, Corby, Shirebrook and Banbury.
Job Summary:
Newlyweds foods is a BRC accredited leading specialist manufacturer of coatings, seasonings and flavourings for the food industry supplying major manufacturers throughout the world.
We are looking for a highly organised, experienced, self-motivated, reliable, efficient and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our team, on a fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of group salaries whilst keeping accurate and up-to-date time and attendance data for all sites.
Job description
The main responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant are to provide cover and support on all European payrolls for ~1000 employees.
Some of the main responsibilities are as follows:
· Support the processing of 5 UK Payrolls
· Main point of contact with third party payroll agents for European payrolls
· Month end accruals
· P11D’s
· P46 Car submissions
· Internal reporting
Skills/Experience required
· Previous experience of UK payroll
· Experience of manufacturing/shift patterns desirable
· Ordering of all payroll stationery, i.e. payslips, P60’s etc...
· Raising Purchase Orders for Childcare vouchers etc.
· Good Excel skills
· Understanding of auto-enrolment rules
· Good time keeping and attention to detail a must to ensure accurate and timely payments

Terms and conditions include:
Salary – £30,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience
Location – Newly Weds Foods
Working hours / pattern – 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pension – 3% paid via salary sacrifice, saving you tax and NI contributions
Annual Salary Reviews – an annual pay review is conducted every January
