An established Main Contractor who works on a Framework agreement with their clients is looking to employ a Contracts Manager.
Ideally, someone wishing to take the step up, who will work closely with a very experienced Senior Contracts Manager. This role involves building relationships with clients and gaining knowledge from the Senior Contracts Manager.
The ideal candidate should have experience working on commercial, leisure, and retail building or fit-out projects. A self-starter who can think, plan, and organize their diary, is capable of writing Health and Safety plans and construction phase plans, and understands how to read construction drawings and construction programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage subcontractors are essential.
With the main office located in the North, the role will require remote working at times or project-based work. Should there be a need to stay away from time to time, a hotel will be provided.

Minimum Requirements
1. Have a car and drive
2. Possess a strong work ethic
3. Have good IT skills
4. CSCS (ideally White or Black Card), SMSTS & First Aid
5. Happy to travel to projects across the South
6. Previous experience working in Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, or Retail construction sectors, NOT residential.
Remuneration
Salary (To be agreed - depending on the level of candidate's experience), Car Allowance, Mileage, Pension, etc.
