Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Specialist Band 6 Dietitian to work within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Tier 2 Adult Mental Health Services. The post-holder will be responsible for Dietetic input to a number of the community mental health teams and tier 2 adult specialist mental health wards across Gwent The post-holder will gain understanding of the main psychological therapies and treatments for a range of mental health conditions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good experience, knowledge and understanding of common mental health conditions and hav enthusiasm for working with this population. You will work alongside the full adult multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the assessment and care of adults at the different stages of their mental health journey's including individual, group, community and specialist adult in patient wards. You will be expected to travel to a range of sites, and work both face to face and virtually to allow improved access for families and care closer to home. The post holder will join a team of committed clinicians who strive to provide high quality care to adults whilst protecting staff wellbeing and development.
