This role would be an excellent first step into a career in an office environment, having completed A-level or equivalent study. You will have the chance to earn while you learn, gaining valuable experience and skills as you work alongside our experienced professionals, learning the fundamentals of the role as we invest in your talents.
This is an 18-month programme and after successful completion, you will gain a recognised qualification and be ready to move into the next phase of your career. You will have one day a week dedicated to your study, which will be delivered by an authorised training provider and all course and training fees will be paid by the firm.
Based within our Operations department, you will be working alongside a team of experts, largely within the projects team. In return for your excellent organisational and communication skills, and problem solving attitude, you will receive unrivalled support and training to develop your skills and experience in a Legal Top 200 law firm.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with operational projects ensuring these are being progressed on time and within scope.
* Working towards the continuous improvement of Operational standards and KPIs in line with the corporate plan.
* Contributing to the client’s journey and ensure customer service is improved through the implementation of process improvement.
* Undertaking a variety of project activities including: information gathering; user stories; business analysis and process mapping.
* Developing project plans and timescales following agreed methodology.
* Producing accurate and timely performance data and presenting recommendations to support effective management decision making.
* Engaging with all departments to achieve project goals.
* Assisting with the design and build of business systems and processes.
* Providing regular project status reports, communicating milestones and delivery expectations.
* Providing support and coaching to colleagues on new processes and procedures as required.
* Assisting with internal reporting to provide accurate and useable data to the business.
* Utilising various communication channels, including social media where appropriate.
* Planning and organising internal events.
Our entry requirements:
* 3 A-levels at grade C or above, or equivalent Level 3 qualification
* 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at grade 4 or above
