Salary:£29,031 - £33,000 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons JW3 Finchley Road.
Our Bright Horizons JW3 Finchley Road is Ofsted rated “Good” and situated 3 minute walk from Finchley Road and Frognal Overground station and a 10 minute walk from the Underground station. There are also a number of bus routes which pass the nursery.
We are the Penthouse Nursery located at the top of the prestigious JW3 Centre in North London. Although our ethos is linked with the Jewish Centre, we warmly invite applications from applicants of all faiths and backgrounds to join our thriving team.

What you’ll be doing
· Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
· Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
· Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
· Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
· Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
· Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
· Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
· Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
· Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
· Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
· Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
· Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
