Rohan is one of the leading outdoor clothing brands in the UK with over 50 retail stores across the country. We are looking for an IT Support Technician to become a valuable member of our IT Team. As the first line of defense for all IT-related issues, you will provide technical assistance, support, and troubleshooting to end-users across various hardware, software, and network systems. Main Duties & Responsibilities Technical Support Provide end-user support for a wide range of IT-related issues, including software installations, hardware malfunctions, network connectivity problems, and other system-related concerns You will resolve issues through various communication channels, including phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistance. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations Use diagnostic tools and knowledge of IT systems to identify root causes and apply solutions effectively. System Installation & Configuration Assist in the installation, configuration, and setup of new hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals Ensure that systems are properly configured and meet the technical specifications of the organization. Ongoing Maintenance & Updates Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates, patches, and system backups. Ensure that all systems and software are up-to-date, secure, and functioning properly. Who are we looking for? Technical & Qualifications Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are preferred. Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and enterprise applications. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Knowledge of remote desktop tools and troubleshooting utilities. Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent certifications would be a plus. Knowledge & Experience A minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in an IT support or technical role, ideally in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
