My client is hiring an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will support the finance team by assisting with daily financial operations and ensuring smooth accounting processes. Key Responsibilities: Processing invoices using Sage Assisting with the management of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Supporting bank reconciliations Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processing Helping with the preparation of monthly accounts Assisting in the preparation of financial statements Supporting the completion of VAT returns Providing administrative support to the Financial Controller, including assisting with year-end accounts preparation Essential Skills: Strong Excel skills Experience using Sage Proven experience in an accounting or finance role Additional Information: Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week) Hybrid working options (discussed individually) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 4% pension contribution Free on-site parking If you're passionate about finance and want to make a real impact in a dynamic company, we’d love to hear from you
