They provide complete social media management - from content creation to strategy, planning and delivery and across all platforms. The Content Creator Apprentice role is to provide support on the social media side of the SH Comms business. The role is fully office based with occasional hybrid options. The role involves working as part of a team in the SH Comms office, as well as attending meetings and events. The successful candidate will work under the Social Media Manager with the support of the directors. The successful candidate could expect to work on social campaigns across: Instagram TikTok Facebook X LinkedIn Person Specification Has a passion for social media: Someone who LOVES socials, who spends a lot of time on the platforms and is aware of trends etc. Influencer knowledge/ interest: They’re looking for someone who has an interest in influencers and understands a bit about that world/ audience. Enthusiastic/ Keen to learn: It’s important that you are passionate and excited to learn about this world. They’re looking for someone with a thirst for knowledge who is keen to get ahead in social media. Resilient/ hardworking: It’s a busy environment so they’re looking for someone who can jump in and enjoy that pace. Self-starter/ motivated: They’re looking for someone who will push themselves forward a little - it's a junior role, but motivation and being proactive is important too. Punctual. Nice to have Knowledge and experience of Manchester: knowledge of the city and its hospitality/ entertainment scene would be helpful. Social Media experience: If you have done any side of socials for an account other than your own (e.g. at university, for a business you have worked at) would be helpful but not essential. Daily/ weekly/ regular duties include: Assisting on content shoots: Attending content shoots across Greater Manchester. Some scope for this to be further afield but the majority of this work will take place within the region. This will involve shooting stills and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok LinkedIn, Twitter/ Blue Sky. This will be mainly using iPhones plus other kit (mics, tripods etc) capturing videos and still images. Administering content: Uploading and organising images and videos into online folders, supporting with organising the social media planners etc. Drafting copy: For posts across multiple platforms in multiple styles. Posting content: Using scheduling tools and ‘in app’ scheduling systems Insight Reports Supporting the social media management with gathering stats and compiling the insight reports. Community management: Monitoring accounts and replying and responding to comments. Also producing daily summaries of client’s social media accounts. Attending and assisting at events Attending launches, managing guest lists, helping with the execution of events on site. Attending client meetings with the team: Listening and taking notes, providing admin support. Influencer outreach and campaign support: Reaching out to influencers and supporting influencer activity. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching. The qualification will include: Level 3 Content Creator Things to consider Successful candidates will be invited to a second stage, where you will attend a virtual assessment session and complete Maths & English assessments. If these results are successful, your application will be sent to the employer who will shortlist for interviews. Please note: For the first year, you will be paid a minimum salary of £18,000. Thereafter, your pay will be increased to the National Minimum Wage for your age.
