To support our growing and diversifying business, we have a new opportunity to join us as a Healthcare & Engagement Learning Director on a permanent, full time basis reporting directly into our Head of Learning and Business Development. If you are a strategic and dedicated to winning new business, ideally with an understanding of Primary, Community Care and Secondary Care we'd love to hear from you In this role, you will be responsible for identifying sales leads, pitching our services to existing and new clients, and maintaining a good working relationship with new contacts to ensure we are a trusted source of support to healthcare professionals and organisations. Your day to day: Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities within the primary care and community sector Work towards Miad’s strategy to increase business within the sector Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients and stakeholders Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, partners and stakeholders Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, clients and partners Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and make necessary adjustments to improve performance Provide reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and achievements Stay up to date on the NHS trends and changes Account manage the primary care organisations to ensure that business opportunities are monitored regularly and delivered effectively The ideal candidate: Demonstrable experience in a senior Business Development role, ideally within the healthcare sector Good market knowledge of the health sector and public sector procurement A solid understanding of healthcare trends and regulations, as well as future plans for the NHS and private healthcare sector.
