The Role:
As an M&E Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Project Oversight: Managing the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across various sectors.
* Planning and Coordination: Developing project programmes, coordinating teams, and ensuring seamless integration of M&E services.
* Budget Management: Monitoring project costs, preparing reports, and ensuring financial targets are met.
* Health & Safety: Ensuring all projects comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
* Client Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Team Leadership: Managing project teams, including subcontractors and site staff, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during project delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager within the building services or construction industry.
* A strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical services.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* A thorough understanding of health and safety standards and regulations.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and project costs.
* A proactive and results-driven attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
* Professional memberships such as CIBSE or IET are advantageous but not essential.
* A valid UK driving license for site visits and client meetings.
