Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Kidderminster

Facilities: They are proud to be one of the first UK practices to achieve dog-friendly status from the Dogs Trust/BVBA Dog-Friendly Clinic scheme, having already been a fear-free accredited practice. They also have Gold ISFM cat-friendly status, are officially rabbit-friendly with Silver RWAF status, and are an RCVS-accredited practice.
Their purpose-built premises and facilities enable them to provide a high standard of care, with separate dog and cat wards, 4 consulting rooms, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, high-quality ultrasound with Doppler, in-house lab, endoscope, optic loop, Tonovet pen, cautery, and laser therapy.
Team: They have a strong clinical team of 6-7 vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 1 ANA, with a range of experience between 6 and 30 years, and a brilliant admin/reception team who keep everything running smoothly. Everyone is supportive and always tries to help each other. The practice is very much part of the community.
Role:
* They are looking for a full-time RVN to join their friendly and supportive team in Kidderminster.
* They are a busy, independent, family-owned veterinary practice and are searching for another RVN to help them in their commitment to providing high-quality care for their clients and their pets.

Hours:
* Ideally, this is a full-time position comprising of 37 hours a week.
* Participation in the on-call rota – 1 in 6 weeknights and 1 in 5/6 weekends (with a day and a half back in lieu), though they can be flexible to suit your lifestyle.
Duties: No two days are alike and they need someone who is efficient, can multitask, keeps calm under pressure, and shows initiative. You will be working in an incredibly experienced and established team, comprising of 6 vets, 8 RVNs, and a SVN, along with a team of support staff. They have a diverse caseload meaning you can really utilise those invaluable nursing skills which are greatly appreciated here.
Skills/Exp: This role would suit both a newly qualified or experienced RVN, wanting to jump into a supportive and progressive practice position. Clinical coach experience would be desirable but not essential.
Salary: The salary on offer is dependent on experience and will be discussed at the interview.
