Calling all Master of Laws (LL.M)/ Post Graduate Diploma of Law (PGDL) with an interest in publishing and writing.

We are working with a renowned multimodal media company seeing an Editorial Assistant to aid their editorial teams in the creation, publication, and presentation of content. This role also involves providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
\n\n
This is a 6-month temporary position.
\n\n
Hybrid working, London (one day onsite, four from home).
\n\n
Start date: immediate.
\n\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n\n
\n\t
* Develop, code, and publish content assets, ensuring they display correctly online
\n\t
* Proofread content to correct typographical errors and fix broken links.
\n\t
* Assist in gathering and compiling information for current awareness content, emails, and alerts.
\n\t
* Create and publish email containers and alerts for current awareness.
\n\t
* Review document templates for proper rendering and resolve template usage issues.
\n\t
* Write and edit content where legal expertise is not required.
\n\t
* Maintain online lists of resources such as trackers, new content lists, and provisional publishing schedules.
\n\t
* Conduct research where legal expertise is not required.
\n\t
* Identify content needing periodic review and ensure the review process is completed.
\n\t
* Assist in organising customer, training, networking, and other events.
\n\t
* Compile business intelligence data reports and other reports and spreadsheets.
\n
\n\n
Required Skills and Experience:
\n\n
\n\t
* Previous experience in a legal or publishing environment.
\n\t
* Experience using technology to create and disseminate online content.
\n\t
* Must have a post graduate diploma in Law or LL.M
\n\t
* Strong writing and communication skills.
\n
\n\n
\n\t
* Excellent proofreading abilities.
\n\t
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
\n\t
* Fast and accurate typing skills.
\n\t
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
\n\t
* Proficiency in online searching.
\n\t
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n\t
* Experience in meeting deadlines and managing own workload.
\n\t
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
\n
