The purpose of therole is toplay a critical role in managing procurement activitiesand supplier relationships within the organisation. Leveraging yourexpertise in strategic sourcing negotiation and supply chainmanagement you will lead procurement initiatives to optimise costsmitigate risks and ensure the timely acquisition of goods andservices to support business operations andobjectives.
Duties andResponsibilities
* Managerelationships with key suppliers including contract manufacturersdistributors and service providers to ensure alignment withbusiness objectives and performanceexpectations.
* Conduct supplier evaluationsperformance reviews and audits to monitor supplier performanceaddress issues and drive continuous improvementinitiatives.
* Negotiate contracts pricingagreements and service level agreements with suppliers to achievecost savings mitigate risks and secure favourable terms andconditions.
* Review and analyse contract termsconditions and specifications to ensure compliance with businessrequirements legal standards and regulatoryobligations.
* Promote supplier diversityinitiatives and ensure compliance with diversity policies andregulations in supplier selection and contractingprocesses.
* Identify and assess risks associatedwith supply chain disruptions price fluctuations and supplierperformance issues and develop risk mitigation strategies tominimize exposure and ensure businesscontinuity.
* Implement contingency plansalternative sourcing strategies and supply chain resiliencemeasures to mitigate risks and ensure the availability of criticalgoods and services.
* Subject Matter Expert forthe procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuanceensuring compliance with Microsoft Dynamics 365 company policiesprocedures and procurement regulations.
* SupportProcurement team with purchase order and cost accuracy drivingcontinual improvement of processes to optimise Microsoft Dynamics365 configuration.
* Analyse procurement dataspending patterns and cost drivers to identify opportunities forcost reduction process optimisation and efficiencyimprovements.
* Prepare procurement reportsdashboards and presentations to communicate key procurement metricsperformance indicators and savings achievements to seniormanagement andstakeholders.
Skillsand Experience
* Provenexperience as a buyer or procurement professional with a trackrecord of successfully managing procurement activities and supplierrelationships.
* Strong knowledge of procurementprinciples strategic sourcing methodologies and contractnegotiation techniques with expertise in procurement processes andprocedures.
* Excellent negotiation andcommunication skills with the ability to build strong relationshipswith suppliers stakeholders and internalcustomers.
* Analytical mindset with the abilityto analyse procurement data conduct costbenefit analysis and makedatadriven decisions to optimize procurementoutcomes.
* Strong organisational and projectmanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpacedenvironment.
* Proficiency in procurementsoftware and tools such as ERP systems eprocurement platforms andspend analytics tools is desirable.
* Relevantdegree or professional qualification in procurement supply chainmanagement business administration or a related field isessential.
* Professional accreditation ormembership with relevant procurement organizations (e.g. CIPS) isadvantageous.
