Working under the direct supervision of Nursing staff, the post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination, alongside stores, of the stock replenishment for the department. This will involve replenishment of stock to various areas of the department to enable nursing teams to work more efficiently. The role will also involve general cleaning following strict cleaning and replenishment checklists to support the smooth running of the department. The post holder will be invaluable in supporting the efficiency of patient admissions and discharges to ensure and minimise delays. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring correct meals are delivered to the patients and families, liaising with the nursing teams to support the nutritional requirements for patients within the children's ward. The post holder will also undertake general housekeeping duties, whilst ensuring a safe, organised, clean and comfortable environment for patients, carers and all service users.
