About the Role As a Teaching Assistant (EAL), you will play a vital role in helping primary students with EAL needs to thrive academically and socially. Working closely with teachers and other TAs, you’ll ensure that each child feels included and supported. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant: Provide targeted support to primary students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) needs. Assist in developing students’ English language skills, including speaking, reading, and writing. Adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual language needs. Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies for language acquisition. Requirements for the Teaching Assistant (TA) Role: Experience working with EAL students, especially in a primary school setting. Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach. Ability to support language development in an engaging and interactive way. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
