Job Title: Fleet Engineer Pay rate: Min £25.66 Max £32.53 Outside IR35 Duration: 31/01/2025 Extension WFH/WFO: Fully onsite - 35 hour per day Between 8am - 5pm Location: Crewe Start date: ASAP Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, an industry-leading organisation in the automotive sector, is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Engineer to join their team. The Fleet Engineer will play a crucial role in managing the organisation's vehicle engineering (EG) vehicle fleet from planning to disposal, ensuring that the EG engineering Teams' requirements are met within the overall business plan. Responsibilities: Planning and definition of vehicle requirements: Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to advise and support the planning and specification of vehicles required for each project. Coordinate EG vehicle usage: Maximise vehicle utilisation and availability for users optimise transport requirements while ensuring compliance with security protocols. Understand vehicle concerns raised within the business and ensure vehicles are updated in a timely manner Maintain the vehicle disguise strategy by sourcing and delivering the disguise strategy Key Competencies & Qualifications: Understanding of financial limits within the area of responsibility. Excellent communication skills at various levels across different forums. Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility. Strong problem-solving skills for cross-functional issues. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and the capability to complete risk assessments. Proficiency in German language is preferable. Skills & Experience: Familiarity with vehicle road-worthiness and legislative requirements in relevant countries. Significant advanced knowledge of design and development, test and measurement, engineering drawings, and software tools. Familiarity with the Product Emergence Process (PEP). Qualifications: Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification is preferable. Membership of a relevant professional institution and Chartered Engineer status are preferable.Our client values a clear understanding of customer requirements and the establishment of correct build specifications and functionality for vehicles. The Fleet Engineer will contribute to meeting the budget constraints for vehicle quantities, updates, and maintenance.
