Repair Supervisor
Reporting to: Service & Repair Manager

Job Role:
Deliver high-quality customer service relating to reactive repairs and call-outs.
Key Activities:
• Interface with customers at all levels to ensure service requirements are met in accordance with contract agreements.
• Collaborate with the Service Co-ordinator to schedule repairs promptly and meet customer deadlines.
• Ensure all necessary parts and consumables are available for planned events.
• Manage the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to include equipment, stock, worksheets, reports, quotations, and engineers.
• Lead accident investigations, drive health and safety awareness, and continuously improve site safety performance, ensuring compliance with all company and legislative Health & Safety regulations.
• Conduct audits to maintain high standards in Health & Safety, quality, and performance.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with staff and clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Seek regular customer feedback during and after activities, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Ensure repair jobs remain profitable and meet contract requirements.
• Manage Protean jobs, closing down repair and reactive calls daily.
• Oversee branch engineers and technicians, providing effective management and support.
Essential Requirements:
• Technical/engineering background, preferably in the lift or machinery industry, with commercial and financial/cost management skills.
• Confident negotiator with excellent communication skills, able to prioritise and plan work schedules effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience managing multiple project portfolios simultaneously.
• Full, clean driving licence.

• Knowledge of lift systems, automation products, and related applications.
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety standards, industry regulations, CE directives, and contract forms (e.g., NEL, LUK, JCT).

• 2 roles, 1 x Leeds and 1 x Chertsey
• The role requires travel to UK customer sites.
