Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Reporting to: General Manager (Dotted line to CWH–Group Sales Offices Manager)
Purpose of the role:
To take responsibility for bookings within the hotel, ensuring the Department delivers a high-quality service to customers, maximizing all sales opportunities and controlling.
The effective management of the hotel’s Sales Office activities, continuously working to strengthen and build the business.

* Able to engage and convert bookings in all segments including but not limited to Weddings, Corporate, and Social.

* Have a good personal standard projecting a professional image at all times.

Computer skills: Must be IT literate.
Key Responsibilities:
People:
* Actively support and lead ensuring that the Customer experience is truly engaging throughout each and every interaction during their stay.
* Follow all people management systems and personal development for all in line with people and development guidelines.
* Ensure all legislative training is adhered to and carried out effectively and efficiently.
* Ensure accurate communication of identified client needs both internally and to the wider team as required.
* Create and maintain a positive sales culture within the office to drive conversion at all times.
Customer:
* Promote a helpful and professional image to the customer, giving full cooperation to any customer requiring attention.
* Attend to customer queries in a caring and helpful manner with a commitment to resolving issues positively.
* Anticipate customer needs whenever possible to enhance service quality and ensure customer loyalty.
* Ensure customers are treated correctly, first time, every time.
* Ensure all customers receive a warm welcome, first time, every time.
* Work with the General Manager in cases of customer dissatisfaction to enable recovery and overcome negativity.
* Meet and exceed client expectations in terms of support, quality, and service.
* Effectively manage show rounds within the team to support the achievement of venue budgets and conversion targets.
* Ensure all post-event feedback is obtained and communicated effectively, and any required follow-up action is taken.
* Ensure the sales team is visible daily to customers and perform a role in meet and greet.
Profit:
* Exceed departmental profit targets while returning investment at the appropriate rate.
* Identify new opportunities to increase profit contributions and control costs in all areas of responsibility.
* Adhere to all processes and procedures relating to financial activities, record keeping, money handling, and licensing, including timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
* Assist and support inventory management and ongoing maintenance of venue operating equipment and other assets.
* Be familiar with and promote other hotels within the group.
Sales:
* Actively participate in revenue and sales activities.
* Drive top-line sales while maintaining a strong focus on the cost base through all interactions.
* Work with the General Manager, Director of Revenue, and CWH Group Sales Offices Manager to compile and implement the sales & marketing plan for conferences and events.
* Maintain account profiles through consistent follow-up calls of all key accounts, identifying new conference accounts and building relationships to grow market share.
* Ensure that terms and conditions of business are in place for all bookings and adhered to.
* Support the CWH Group Sales Offices Manager by maintaining accurate information for forecasting within the PMS.
* Monitor the diary daily to ensure all team members manage it effectively to maximize revenues and troubleshoot as required.
* Ensure quality control of information and data within the PMS to maximize sales opportunities.
* Ensure adherence to procedures for all booking systems within the team and monitor training on updates.
Statutory Responsibilities:
Ensure all team members within the department observe all Fire, Health & Safety, and Food Safety regulations, attending necessary training sessions to stay updated on new legislation and ensuring compliance with all current legal requirements.
Unspecified Duties:
Carry out any other reasonable requests to ensure that all guest expectations are exceeded.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
