Your new role
My client are looking for an experienced Ecologist to join the environmental management & design team based at their West Bridgford Office (Nottingham).
You will help to lead the ecology team in the delivery of environmental services and collaborative projects.
Main duties will include:
1. Provide expert ecological advice to colleagues, clients and external parties
2. Business development to grow the ecology market
3. Lead, coach, and develop more junior ecologists
4. Lead on ecological surveys (Protected species, habitats and more)
5. Write detailed ecological reports
6. Ensure successful delivery of ecology consultancy projects
7. Client liaising to ensure that financial targets and stakeholder requirements are met
What you'll need to succeed
8. A Degree in an Environment, Ecology or related field
9. Ecology experience with relevant UK legislation in a Consultancy
10. Ability to lead and support a team
11. Excellentmunication and report writing skills
12. A driving license
13. Membership in CIEEM (ideal)
14. Holder of one or more protected species licenses (ideal)
15. GIS or other relevant software knowledge (ideal)
