Customer Service Representative – Introduction
If you have experience in a client-facing role and are eager to further develop your skills, this is an exciting opportunity to join a world expert in making coatings. We are now recruiting a Customer Service Representative to support our Yacht coatings business by providing outstanding client service.
Customer Service Representative – The Role
1. Act as first level contact for customers for order receipt, confirmations, and answers to questions.
2. Build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
3. Carry out accurate and timely order processing using our ERP system, including managing back orders and advising customers of any stock issues.
4. Ensure that invoices to customers are raised accurately and on time.
5. Collaborate with logistics and other internal functions to ensure smooth delivery of orders.
6. Document and resolve customer complaints, working together with sales and technical functions to find solutions.
7. Follow all standard procedures related to audit and record keeping.
Customer Service Representative – About You
1. Good standard of education including Maths and English.
2. Experience in a customer service role.
3. Proficient user of MS Office applications such as email and Excel.
4. Knowledge of SAP is preferred but not essential.
5. Proficient in English (verbal and written). German and/or another European language is a bonus but not essential.
6. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
7. Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting each other is key to success.
8. Good at building relationships & committed to providing excellent client service.
9. Well organized, accurate, and with an eye for detail.
