Job Title: Locum Podiatrist – Colchester Banding: Band 6 Location: Colchester Working Hours: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £24 to £27 per hour Opening Paragraph: We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Locum Podiatrist to join the podiatry team covering Clacton and Colchester areas in South East England. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled podiatrist to manage a high-risk caseload, with the possibility of some home visits. The role will involve delivering essential podiatry services, providing assessments, treatments, and support for patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions. Responsibilities: As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you will be responsible for managing a high-risk caseload, including patients with diabetes, vascular issues, and other complex conditions. You will provide both clinic-based care and undertake home visits as necessary to deliver comprehensive podiatry services. Your duties will include performing assessments, providing treatment plans, and offering advice and education to patients on foot care and prevention. While experience with SystemOne is desirable, full training will be provided. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and effective care for your patients. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registration as a Podiatrist Degree in Podiatry or equivalent Proven experience managing high-risk caseloads, particularly with patients requiring diabetic foot care, vascular care, and general foot health management Experience in home visits and working autonomously SystemOne experience is desirable, but full training will be provided Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and patient management skills Enhanced DBS check required Why work with Pulse?
