Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in solar energy, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires excellent leadership, technical knowledge, project management skills, and strong communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end delivery of solar, battery storage, EV charging installation projects. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless project execution. Review electrical design, system specifications, and technical documentation. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Oversee site operations, manage resources, and resolve site challenges and client engagement as required. Monitor quality, key milestones, and control variations within the project. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, industry standards, and local authority requirements. Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders. Conduct site visits and audits to assess work quality and adherence to design specifications. Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare project reports, documentation, and performance analysis for stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Experience & Qualifications: Electrical Qualification (Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation or City & Guilds 2365 Level 2&3 Diploma in Electrical Installations, or an apprenticeship in Electrical Installations). Higher Education qualification (HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering). 18th Edition Wiring Course. Proven experience in managing renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance. Project Management qualification such as Prince2 or equivalent. SMSTS, CSCS Card, and ECS Gold Card would be advantageous. Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, CDM 2015, and risk management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar software (advantageous but not essential). Full UK driving license.
