Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O'Rourke, two of Europe's most dynamic engineering and construction specialists, are working together in a joint venture named BYLOR to deliver the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC) worth over £2.8 billion.

Role & Responsibilities:
* To ensure that regular site safety-specific inspections at every level of the organisation under their responsibility, from supervision to management levels are conducted.
* To lead the construction of all permanent works within his scope and area of responsibility with respect to the defined scope and program of Works.
* To identify and manage the interfaces between all permanent work areas within his scope or area of responsibility.
* To identify and report to the Project Leader or Senior Project Manager all interfaces with other areas of responsibilities, especially other scopes occurring in the same area or building, so they can be properly addressed and managed.
* To participate in specific design, logistics or construction meetings critical for his scope or area of responsibility in order to ensure timely decision making.
* To arrange and manage accesses within his area of responsibility.
* To liaise with the site engineering teams covering his area of responsibility regarding the Temporary Works process.
* To deliver the sub project to the client within budget, Quality Assurance standards, on programme and to stringent safety parameters.
* To identify, report and investigate any non-conformances occurring in his scope or area of responsibility according to site rules.
* To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan.
* To ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce.
* To plan the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team.
* To interface with other construction managers and sections managers to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilisation.
Requirements:
* Able to manage/control H&S standards.
* Able to manage/control Quality requirements including process adherence.
* IT competence.
* Experienced working on large infrastructure projects.
