Your new role
* Perform daily setting out duties independently.
* Train, manage, and mentor Junior Engineers.
* Manage and monitor all site sample/performance testing requirements, maintaining records in line with contract specifications.
* Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements.
* Manage site service plans/drawings and issue permits accordingly.
* Assist the site QS/Project Manager by providing relevant information for records and claims purposes.
* Monitor and control temporary works.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies, as well as company procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Extensive setting out experience on infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and earthworks.
2. Proficiency with Leica/Geomax equipment and the ability to transfer information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment.
3. Strong understanding of ITPs and the quality assurance process.
