About the Role We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our client based in Tayside. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all estimating aspects of civil engineering projects, both pre and post-contract. You will support Quantity Surveyors in delivering cost-effective solutions, ensuring value for money while maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves pricing small works/maintenance, surveying, and supporting operations to ensure accurate invoicing, job tracking, and seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost plans and estimates based on client requirements Estimate for civil engineering projects, including take-off quantities and preparing bills of quantities Develop and maintain subcontractor and cost databases Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contract staff to ensure smooth project delivery Manage documentation, including tender submissions, logs, and archiving Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and health & safety regulations Use software such as Excel, Word, Project, Constructa, and Cost X What We’re Looking For Experience in estimating for civil engineering projects Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in relevant software and contract administration systems Knowledge of various civil engineering contracts and health & safety regulations Why Join Us?
