Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Sales Consultant with expertise in Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) to drive sales and revenue growth. In this role, you will be responsible for selling cloud-based contact centre solutions to SMBs and enterprise-level organisations, helping them streamline customer interactions across multiple communication channels, such as voice, email, chat, and social media. Reporting to the Product Director, you will focus on developing a strong sales pipeline, nurturing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute a strategic sales plan to engage potential clients across various industries.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities while working closely with account managers to introduce solutions to existing customers.
* Analyse customer pain points and business needs to propose tailored CCaaS solutions with measurable benefits.
* Showcase the platform’s capabilities, including scalability, seamless integration, and enhanced customer experience features.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Customer Experience & Service.
* Conduct tailored product demonstrations and craft compelling proposals that align with client objectives.
* Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure and handover.
* Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position the company’s CCaaS solutions as market leaders.
Required Skills & Experience
* In-depth technical knowledge of CCaaS and cloud telephony solutions.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience working alongside marketing and sales teams.
* At least 3 years of experience working with CCaaS vendors or service providers.
* Proven ability to exceed sales targets and manage complex sales cycles.
* Extensive understanding of the contact centre industry and key revenue streams, including upselling, incentive payments, and MDF/co-op funding.
* Excellent communication skills for delivering partner updates and announcements.
* Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
