Position: Compliance Manager Contract Type: Permanent Location: Hybrid (Full Time) What You'll Do: As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the compliance landscape of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: Policy Development: Support the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, identifying and eliminating hidden risks and non-conformity issues. Compliance Monitoring: Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to develop and deliver a robust compliance monitoring plan. Assessment Oversight: Lead the monitoring and evaluation of compliance measures, ensuring effectiveness across all subsidiaries. Team Leadership: Manage and nurture the Compliance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Regulatory Guidance: Provide expert advice on compliance, regulatory risk, and quality assurance across the organisation. Internal Controls: Evaluate and enhance internal controls to drive ongoing improvements. Reporting: Collate and report key metrics to the Head of Compliance, highlighting any identified risks. Framework Support: Assist in the management and delivery of the SM&CR framework. Regulatory Reporting: Help in the completion of regulatory reporting and applications. What You Bring: We are looking for candidates who possess: In-depth knowledge of FCA Handbook requirements and compliance best practises. Practical experience in areas such as Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly, Systems and Controls, and ICOBS regulations. Strong decision-making abilities, even under tight deadlines, with a focus on controls. Excellent verbal and numeric reasoning skills.
