We are looking for an energetic and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our Kitchen team at The Barnsdale.
Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. You will:
* Have at least 1-2 years' of CDP experience in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen.
* Be responsible, and ensure all mise en place for breakfast service is freshly prepared and on time.
* Have working knowledge of relevant food legislation, including a Level 1 or Level 2 in Food Safety.
* Ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
* Ensure that all dishes reach the hot plate or pass correctly garnished, the correct portion and size, presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner.
* Maintain a clean and tidy section at all time.
* Communicate any anticipated shortages to the Sous Chef or Head chef.
* Engage in any job-related training courses as and when required.
* Ensure that all company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being strictly adhered to and recorded correctly.
