Job Description
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Accurate processing of company payroll on a monthly basis.
* Handling employee queries regarding payroll and related issues.
* Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and best practices.
* Assisting with end of year processes, including P60s.
* Reconciliation of payroll accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Maintenance and updating of payroll records.
* Production of payroll reports for management.
* Collaboration with HR and finance teams.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
* A strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation.
* Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with payroll systems and software.
* Good communication skills to handle employee queries.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
