Purple Oak Support is looking for an enthusiastic Team Manager, on a part-time basis (32hrs per week), to lead a passionate team, providing exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading by Example: Be the guiding force for our awesome Support Workers, helping them reach their full potential.
* Teamwork: Hold monthly team meetings and 1:1 supervisions to keep everyone connected, motivated, and on track.
* Recruitment Rockstar: Assist in bringing new team members onboard, from interviews to induction.
* Care Plans & Records: Ensure that care plans, risk assessments, and records are top-notch and up-to-date.
* Smooth Operations: Work with the Support Coordinator to manage the team rota and ensure everything runs like clockwork.
* Compliance Champion: Ensure we’re always working in line with our policies, safety standards, and all things legal to keep our service user’s experience as smooth as possible.
What We’re Looking For:
* A natural leader who can inspire, motivate, and support a team.
* Experience of working in a care setting (bonus points if you’ve been in a supervisory or management position before!).
* Strong communication and organisational skills—because things don’t always go according to plan, and you’ll be ready to step in when needed.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for person-centred care.
* Knowledge of care systems, CQC standards, and statutory requirements.
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the service and the team.

Purple Oak Support have been serving the communities of Andover and the surrounding areas for over 55 years. What started out as a concerned group of parents whose children has a learning disability, has now turned into a charity which provides supported living services, domiciliary care, community support and children’s respite.
