Dedicated Admin role working in the Tir Canol team, focussing on connecting people and organisations and supporting them to participate in the Cynnal project hosted by RSPB and supported by Esmée Fairbairn.
This position would largely be office-based at RSPB YnysHir office but with flexibility for some home working. This is a role with a flexible working pattern. This is a varied role, from helping co-ordinate logistics, paying bills, dealing with invoices and Purchase Orders and other income/expenditure, to ensuring the administrative and recording procedures are carried out.
Duties include assisting in arranging events, financial processing, procurement and managing information. You will be organised and able to prioritise your workload effectively to deliver timely solutions; a team player and able to pay attention to detail whilst taking a flexible approach to your work. This role can be fast-paced and reactive, so being well organised, efficient, and adaptable are key skills.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to apply those skills successfully and sensitively in our varied team of staff and volunteers.
2. Experience of providing administrative support.
3. Experience of financial processing.
4. Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook, Sharepoint, Word & Excel), together with previous experience of other administrative online platforms.
5. Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, whether by phone, email or in person.
6. Able to proactively identify and solve problems.
7. Calm & efficient approach with the ability to work under pressure.
8. Data entry & information management experience.
9. Interest in conservation and the natural world.
10. Experience of working with volunteers.
Additional Information:
This is a three-year post, Part-Time role for 2 days (15 hours) per week.
We are looking to conduct interviews for this position on the 28th of April 2025.
