The Role
The Administrator will provide support to other members of the Security & Counterparty team, or directly to internal clients of the Operating Entity by delivering effective and compliant on boarding of clients, insurers and other counterparties. They will assist with the creation, maintenance and integrity of broking system account records.
You will ensure that responsibilities and agreed objectives are completed in accordance with the relevant Company and/or Group policies, and consistent with their assigned responsibilities.
What you’ll do:
* Working with senior team members, you will determine own work priorities and activities in line with agreed objectives to ensure the achievement of the Business Plan.
* Acts as a point of liaison between the Business Units and other members of the team, referring more sophisticated queries, where this is appropriate
* Maintains records to produce metrics and updates measures to ensure their continued efficiency
* Provides input into the plans of the wider Security & Counterparty team in order to ensure these include appropriate considerations for delivery.
* Manages assigned projects and contributes to other projects as the need arises
* Provides relevant management information to senior management
* Develop technical expertise in relation to Insurer Terms of Business Agreements and the provision of mentorship to the Business Units
* Assists the business to complete Agency/Intermediary questionnaires and other onboarding documents
* Works with more senior members of the team to capture and utilise information contained within the Company systems.
* Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
* Responds appropriately to urgent issues as they arise
Who we’re looking for
* Experience of operating in the compliance department/Security & Counterparty department of a public company in the UK regulatory environment, would be preferred but is not crucial as full training will be given
* Preference will be given to applicants who have an understanding of regulations within the insurance broking industry or who have studied insurance or commerce as part of their education
* Has utilised Microsoft Office products
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Self motivated
* Analytical and problem solving skills.
