Your Role
We are looking to recruit to a part time Business Support Assistant post providing administrative support to the Adult Social Care Safeguarding Team for 12 months. The successful candidate will deal with all care home safeguarding concerns and enquires, whilst liaising with care home managers, regional managers and Quality teams. You will respond to the manager with the initial email and enquiry form, chase up the form after 2-3 weeks and where necessary, escalate to the safeguarding team and update the case management system.
Key responsibilities include:
* Dealing with customers or colleague enquires face to face in office, via telephone and by email - signposting to relevant professionals where appropriate
* Telephone call handling and managing customer contact (internal and external) which will include signposting and directing service users
* Updating case management systems
* Receiving and processing referrals, data, and information; handling and processing sensitive and confidential information; and keeping information safe
* Organising and scheduling meetings and other events, and managing document distribution
* General administration including ordering and dealing with invoices, managing room bookings, monitoring email inboxes, etc.
About You
You should be computer literate and be confident in working with standard office IT applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365. You will be expected to learn how to navigate in-house IT systems to work with data and information and use other applications to support services delivered virtually. You will have the ability to build effective working relationships, working as part of a team, and you will be required to work flexibly to meet service needs.
