Responsibilities
* Perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance specifically on engine systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
* Diagnose engine issues and recommend the appropriate course of action.
* Conduct thorough engine inspections using industry-standard equipment to accurately assess performance and potential issues.
* Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and safety regulations.
* Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, adhering to workshop procedures.
* Provide detailed feedback and communication regarding engine performance and repairs.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a mechanic, a strong focus on engine repair is required.
* Specialist knowledge in engine rebuilds and diagnostics is a significant advantage.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex engine issues independently (to the best of your ability).
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanics or engineering are advantageous.
