Working in an open plan office, this role will be within the Accounts team, providing financial information to the Directors.
Our client is an established company based in the Stone area, seeking a Management Accountant to join their friendly team. This is an integral role within a growing business, offering an exciting opportunity. Responsibilities for the Management Accountant include:
* Supervising the Accounts Assistant
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Processing monthly payroll accurately
* Overseeing bank reconciliations for GBP and EU accounts
* Managing accounts receivable and payable
* Monitoring cash flow
* Authorising bank payments
* Checking payment runs, credit card statements, and expenses
* Coordinating with auditors annually
* Overseeing credit control and managing bad debts
* Managing credit limits and liaising with customers and credit insurers
* Preparing VAT reporting information
* Liaising with customers via email and telephone
Candidate requirements:
* AAT Level 4 Qualified minimum
* Ideally CIMA/ACCA part-qualified
* Experience in management accounting
* Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts (desirable)
* Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail
* Analytical skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving abilities
* Ability to meet deadlines
Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours, with early finish at 1:00 pm on Fridays.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
